The motel was on the backside of some kind of gift shop. The rooms are entered from the outside. One downside is breakfast was included but not served until 8,which I was gone by then. Beds were fairly comfortable. Wifi was finicky in the room I was in.
Located on PEI's "Points East Coastal" drive and close to attractions like Basin Head Beach, Fisheries Museum, Train Museum and East Point Lghthouse, Singing Sands is a good and economical spot to stay while exploring. Several "hidden gem" beaches nearby and the locals are extremely friendly. Rooms are comfortable and relaxed, the pool is a great spot to relax in the evening with a view of Basin Head.
Sand is something to experience but not worth the 3 to 4 hours drive we took to get there. Great if thats your destination for your vacation but not much more then that.
The location is excellent if all you are looking for is Basin Head Beach. However wifi didnt work when we were there.
A country motel! Sufficient for my needs. AC and pool both mint!
