I've never had a disappointing meal here...always consistent and reasonably priced. :) There's a reason this place has been open 40+ years. :)
This is a local place with local people.Had the seafood chowder came with a home made biscuit and the lobster roll that came with fresh cut fries.The girls were very nice.The food was fantastic!I was surprised at how good it was I will go back again.
Staff excellent. Execution of menu is poor. No steak? Seafood could be better and more variety. It was only ok. Will try to find better restaurant in area next time.
Had more than one person suggest this restaurant, including the waitress at 21 Breakwater when we couldn't get in there. The place has the atmosphere of a local family diner. Waitress was very friendly and joked with us which made for a pleasant start to our experience. However, when the food came we were extremely disappointed. This was our first meal on the island and we were excited to dig into some fresh potatoes and seafood. Imagine our disappointment when our meals came with frozen french fries and fish and soggy frozen vegetables. The gravy was turkey gravy which was gross, and the tartar sauce came in a thimble sized container. There are so many better places to eat in Souris so save your money and eat elsewhere. My recommendations would be 21 Breakwater (amazing food but pricier), Lot45 (pub grub) and Shirleys (little takeout hut near the marina)
Slow service for a not so busy night... Overcooked mussels and undercooked chips.Would not recommend
